Venice

Reminiscing aobut the incredible trip my sister and I took to Europe last year. It wasn't a family trip, so I didn't write about it here, plus I'm using most of that material for different projects. We took a Mediterranean cruise from Venice to Dubrovnik, Kusadasi in Turkey, Santorini and Corfu. Just amazing. The hubby is not much of a traveler, and ancient history and shopping isn't the kids' idea of a great vacation, but my sister and I have similar tastes in travel destinations, so we decided to go together. Still, I felt guilty. Of course I did. Leaving my kids for 10 days. I decided to make videos of myself and email them to my husband to show the kids. They LOVED it. Here's the one I did in Venice. I used to video function on my digital camera, so the quality isn't that great, but the kids didn't mind.
